Do children under the age of 18 need apply to a Brazil eVisa?

All visitors, including children under the age of 18, need to apply for a visa to enter Brazil. This includes very young children traveling on their parents’ laps.

Currently, we cannot process visas for children who are endorsed on their parents’ passports. Children must have their own passports to be able to apply for an eVisa for Brazil. The eVisa fee is the same for children as it is for adults.

Children, as well as providing their own documents, must also provide documentation from either one, or both parents, or their legal guardian. This includes a passport bio page, a passport-size photo, and a Minor Authorization Letter.
